The Chen Style Tai Chi Centre teaches and promotes the principles and philosophy of Tai Chi and Chinese Health Qigong. The Tai Chi Centre is based in Old Trafford, Manchester and Altrincham, Cheshire in the UK. We offer Tai Chi and Qigong teaching and demonstrational DVDs, Videos and Books, holds instructional Tai Chi & Qigong classes in both Altrincham and Manchester, organises seminars throughout Europe, and arranges annual studying China trips to China. The Centre´s aim is to develop an understanding of all aspects of Tai Chi (Taijiquan) and Qigong that is accessible and valuable to all students and scholars.

News  Happy Chinese New Year! - The Year of Dragon According to the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of 2012 is the Year of the Dragon, which begins on January 23, 2012 and ends on February 9, 2013. The Dragon is the fifth sign of the Chinese Zodiac, which consists of 12 Animal signs. The Dragon is a creature of myth and legend. In ancient China, the celestial Dragon represents an emperor and power. Today, it is the ultimate auspicious symbol signifying success and happiness. May the celestial Dragon bring great good luck to everyone. 20th January 2012  China Trip August 2012! Master Liming Yue will take a group of students from Europe to visit China in August 2012.
